Manchester United to hijack Gabriel Jesus

Jose Mourinho's side are ready to launch the highest offer yet for the Brazilian but the 19-year-old has been attracted to Manchester City after speaking to Pep Guardiola

Manchester United have told Palmeiras that they will pay €38 million (£31.8m) for Gabriel Jesus, according to Globoesporte.

The report claims that United are locked in talks with the Brazilian club but they must now convince the 19-year-old to join them ahead of Manchester City.

City have offered €32m (£26.8m) but Gabriel could be swayed after speaking to Pep Guardiola and has already rejected Barcelona.
