Enrique's Men Fights 8 point to Trophy

Luis Enrique's side extended their lead at the top of the table after a narrow win while the visitors are still to taste victory on their travels in La Liga this season

Barcelona moved eight points clear at the top of La Liga after coming from behind to beat Sevilla 2-1 at Camp Nou thanks to goals from Lionel Messi and Gerard Pique.

The visitors, the last team to beat Barca in the league back in October, deservedly took the lead through Vitolo on 20 minutes after good work from Tremoulinas.

However, the hosts were not behind for long, Messi firing a stunning free kick over the wall and into the top corner on the half hour mark.

Pique then put the hosts in front three minutes into the second half, the defender sliding home from close range after Messi and Suarez had exchanged passes.
